An elaborate chain of mishaps and adventures is set off when Andy goes off to 'cowboy' camp and the toys are left to their own devices. Trying to rescue Wheezy the penguin from a yard sale box, Woody is spotted by an obsessive toy collector who knows his value as part of a set that includes a yodeling redheaded cowgirl, a loyal horse, and a mint-in-box grizzled prospector. When Buzz and the gang find that Woody's been toynapped, they set off on an all-out rescue mission across town to the collector's store--Al's Toy Barn--to get their beloved friend back before he's shipped to Japan. Then all they have to do is make it home before Andy returns from camp.
